Chapter 2: The Silent Majority (1968–1974)
Against a backdrop of troubled desegregation, opposition to the Vietnam War, and increasingly militant feminism, a significant segment of American society became radicalized and turned increasingly conservative. But the only one to benefit from this is Republican President Richard Nixon, aka “Tricky Dick,” who, though a right-winger, is not a conservative. He blocks Ronald Reagan's path to the future... before falling from grace due to the Watergate scandal. Conservatives finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
THE SERIES (3X52')
Long before Donald Trump adopted it, the slogan “MAGA” was first coined by Ronald Reagan in 1980. The conservatives who came to power at that time set out to build an America in their own image—one defined by religiosity, individualism, and a hatred of the government and welfare recipients.

A look at the turmoil and radicalism of the 1960s and 1970s, which sparked this revolution.
